Analysing organisations, their models and their trade-offs to understand what creates value, what constrains decision-making, and what makes transformation possible.

ENGINEERING · ECONOMICS · STRATEGY
An engineering student at Mines Saint-Étienne and a final-year Applied Economics undergraduate at Dauphine-PSL, I work part-time at ArianeGroup within the Procurement Department on the Ariane 6 programme.
I also serve as a Municipal Councillor in Villefranche-de-Rouergue and an Intermunicipal Councillor at Ouest Aveyron Communauté.
My path combines economic analysis, industrial understanding and governance experience to inform strategic decisions and their conditions for execution.
A hybrid background
01
Analysing organisations, their models and their trade-offs to understand what creates value, what constrains decision-making, and what makes transformation possible.
02
Testing analysis against reality: costs, lead times, suppliers, data and coordination. Industrial experience shows how a strategy translates — or fails to translate — into action.
03
Understanding how collective decisions are built, amid diverging interests, institutional constraints and territorial responsibility. An essential lens for grasping transformation beyond the firm.
Timeline
Academic programmes, professional experience and responsibilities held simultaneously.
Experience
Complementary experiences, increasingly oriented toward steering organisations and complex transformations.

External perspectives
Excerpts from recommendation letters received throughout my path.
01
“What sets Jan apart is above all the way he approaches issues: he seeks to understand the underlying mechanisms, connect economic facts with institutional structures, and move beyond a purely technical reading of societal challenges.
Our discussions have allowed me to observe genuine intellectual maturity. Jan is able to formulate relevant questions, structure his reasoning and put complex issues into perspective. His ability to move from a concrete case to a broader analysis is, in my view, a significant strength.”
02
“I had the opportunity to manage Jan during his internship at Numeum and was able to appreciate his many professional and personal qualities.
With strong analytical skills and a methodical approach, Jan is able to manage complex projects with autonomy and precision. When faced with problems, he demonstrated creativity in identifying innovative and effective solutions. I am convinced that he will bring genuine value to the organisations he joins.”
03
“Jan demonstrated a strong ability to listen to and understand the project's needs and objectives. Despite having no prior knowledge of the technologies involved, he was able to develop a high-quality proof of concept very quickly.
He regularly shows initiative in proposing improvements to the quality of his work. His writing skills are clear, combining strong synthesis with accuracy and fidelity to the original ideas.”
